She was one of three environmental Future Shapers featured (along with Danielle Ryan, Filmmaker of The Map to Paradise and Madison Stewart aka Shark Girl). The location for the photoshoot was Coogee Surf LifeSaving Club (Ross Jones Memorial Pool).
Environmental Talk at Apple HQ
Friday October 11 Sophia was asked to share her environmental journey at Apple Australia/NZ in celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child (breakfast session). Staff were encouraged to bring their daughters. The event was hosted at Apple HQ, 20 Martin Place. The opportunity came via Mr Tom Lee, Director Innovation & Technology @ Monte Sant Angelo after follow up by Tony King, Apple Vice President of South Asia & Australia/NZ.
