SYDNEY Start up Hub Level 1

STTOP: I was a member for an inspiring panel that brings together passionate voices from across generations and diverse backgrounds to explore how we can unite for meaningful climate conversations.

How do we bridge the generational divide to create meaningful climate conversation?

What can we learn from the unique strategies of each generation?

And how do we find the courage to start the conversations that inspire others to act?

This conversation will empower attendees to find their voice and take impactful steps for the planet.

Our panelists and Eco-warriors from the YouTube series Stay Tuned to Our Planet (@STTOP2030) include trailblazers like Sophia Skarparis (Plastic Free Sophia), Dan Ilic (Comedian, Presenter, award winning Podcaster of A Rational Fear), Emerson Brophy (Comedian, Singer / Songwriter and Musician); alongside School Strike 4 Climate leader Nirvana Talukder, and the Executive Director of The Climate Change Cluster at UTS, Professor Peter Ralph. Moderated by Dr. Rebecca Huntley, a renowned researcher on social trends and author of "How to Talk About Climate Change in a Way That Makes a Difference".

I had the pleasure of speaking with students at @australianmuseum. It was amazing to hear their insights and see the impact they’re making in their local school communities. Some students are even partnering with @indigigrow to plant native edible plants in their gardens and hosting a sausage sizzle with the onions that they have grown. Doesn’t get more Aussie than that!

So good to be an attendee as an Investa employee at the TRANSFORM 2025 conference hosted by Green Building Council of Australia at the Hilton Hotel, Sydney.

It is an opportunity to tackle the most critical priorities within Australia and ultimately work together on how to accelerate transformative action and change.

How lucky was I to be a guest speaker after the Earth Protectors film, a powerful documentary by renowned environmental artist Anne de Carbuccia. The film was shown at the Ocean Lovers Festival @ Bondi on Sunday, 24 March. To close the event, Sydney-based wellness practitioner, Destiny Wolf, guided the audience through a meditation and drew on her expertise in yoga, mindfulness, and sound healing to foster connection and reflection.
